Senior Buy-side Equity Analyst – Healthcare

We are looking for an experienced equity analyst on the global Healthcare sector. In this position you will be part of the Global Equity Research team, a team of 22 analysts located in both The Hague and London. The analyst team covers stocks on a worldwide basis and works closely with the portfolio managers in The Hague, Brussels, London and Singapore to make sure we manage our client portfolios in the best possible way.

Your area of expertise will be the Healthcare sector with a special focus on Developed Markets stocks. Next to affinity with this sector, you are also a strong team player and communicator and up for a new challenge in a dynamic and international work environment.

 

Your main responsibilities 

  • Generate value-added investment ideas and recommendations on Healthcare stocks
  • Provide bottom-up company modeling, analysis, forecasts and valuation for your coverage
  • Maintain relationships with company management, industry experts and sell-side analysts
  • Integrate ESG factors within your sector and company analysis
  • Cooperate with the analysts and portfolio managers by sharing and discussing views & ideas
  • Manage an analyst model portfolio to communicate your views and drive portfolio decisions

 

Your experience & skills 

  • At least 5 years of experience in conducting fundamental Healthcare equity research
  • Relevant Master’s degree, CFA and/or other relevant professional qualification
  • Deep understanding of accounting and equity valuation methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Your department

This position is part of the Global Equity Research team, which primary role is to perform in-depth, bottom-up company & equity analysis. The team has a global scope, including developed and emerging markets, and is organised along sector lines.

The objective of the analysts is to generate alpha within their sector and recommend their best ideas to portfolio managers. Meeting company management and sell-side analysts, making your own financial forecasts, performing equity valuation and tracking the global financial markets are part of your daily job.
